English Black Glass Wine Bottle circa. 1820-1850

Origin: England

Colour: Black glass - Olive tint

Dimensions: Height 9.75in Width 3.75in

Lip: Smooth-tooled with applied collar

Base: Shallow kick-up and sand pontil.

Source: Discovered in Guyana.

Condition: Good. Overall surface scuffing & scratches
Deep coiling ring scratches around neck
filled in with irridescence formation
Internal irridescence visible around the bottle mouth
Patches of irridescence scattered around the surface & base.

Special features: This is a NOT a part mould bottle.
I've classified it c.1820 because of its applied collar.
It may be earlier bottle c.1780-1800.
