Subject: March 2001 Black Glass Auctions (A)
Fellow Bottle Seekers
According to Doreen Beck's Book of Bottle Collecting, page 29 1974
Edition, if you want 'black glass' you would add a few drops of iron slag
mettalic oxide. Here is a simpler way to get fine black glass.
Starting today and running throughout March 2001, I will be listing a few
great black glass pieces from the 17th century and throughout the 19th
century.
Let the auctions begin!
