Condition: Great. Surface pitting and decay due to burial. External lip chip/flake measuring approximately 0.45in

Special features:
Mid to late 17th century French flowerpot-shaped bottle used especially for Calvados brandy, see Willy Van den Bossche, Antique Glass Bottles, Antique Collectors Club, 2001, page 197, plate 145 for a later example circa 1730.
