Colour: Olive Green

Dimensions: Height 9.0in x Width 6.5in x Base 4.0in

Lip: Down-tooled with applied string rim

Base: Kick-up with pontil scar

Source: Edinburgh. Scotland

Condition: Excellent. Full gloss with typical surface wear.

Special features: Rare Scottish stippled bottle attributed to Alloa Glassworks in Alloa Scotland.
Stippled with crown, horn and leaves

NOTES:
Background to Nailsea and Alloa Glassworks
Nailsea style bottles were produced from 1788 to 1873 at the Nailsea Glassworks south of Bristol, England.
Scottish examples are usually attributed to Alloa Glassworks in Alloa, near Edinburgh, Scotland.
